Last week Steven and I were on Kare 11 with a news story about our family. If you missed it, we'd love to share our message of hope with you (click on the link highlighted above about Kare 11). Since the story aired, I have heard from a handful of people who have dealt with severe tragedy in their lives saying that stories of hope are what kept them going.
The story is titled Second Chances. A fitting title, I believe, as so many of us need second chances in our lives for many reasons. Not only major life changes involving second chances, but sometimes small second chances that happen daily –a second chance at forgiveness, a second chance to wake up on the right side of the bed, a second chance at a decision you made.
The key is not how many chances you get, the key is taking the chance when it is in front of you.
