A New Day’s Adventures

I think good physical conditioning is essential to any
occupation. Someone who is physically fit performs better at any job. Fatigue
makes cowards of us all. –Vince Lombardi

I have had a series of days that can only be described as tiring. I have talked to four or five friends who have reported the same. Why is life so exhausting?

It doesn't seem to tire children, at least not in the same way.  My ankle-biters are still up with the sun, ready for a new day's adventures long before I gain the energy to join them.

5:00 AM

Maddi: Hi Mom, How are you?

Jordan: Mom, are you gonna write another book? Is it a big one or a little one?

Maddi: Does it go all the way up
to the sky?

Jordan: Can it be called, "The Snake and the Boy?"

Maddi: Or can it be about a lamb?

Jordan: It can be about a snake and one boy.  The boy's name is Alex…the snake is Jack.

Maddi sings: Madelynn has a little lamb fleece as white as snow.
Everywhere that Madelynn went the lamb was sure to go.

Me: I need coffee or exercise or both to coerce me into the chatter. Welcome new day. Welcome new adventurous day.
