“There’s no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love. There is only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen.” –Wayne Dyer; author/speaker
I have had some type of flu for the past two days. Along with my health, I feel a lack of motivation for anything: my writing, single-parenting…life. What a difference feeling good has on mental sanity.
I need resolve. To keep going. To start a new day. To believe there is something better.
I read a quote today that said, "There are no traffic jams along the extra mile" by Roger Staubach (businessman and former professional football player). Even with a sore throat and throbbing head I can imagine the extra mile. That is where I want to be. Not many will go there. But, I am convinced that if experienced, it would be worth it.
