This past weekend we celebrated the 5th Annual Shawn Memorial 5K Run with over 400 participants. Each year the race grows with higher numbers and enthusiasm than the year before.
While personally running the race and reading the above quote on the back of all the run t-shirts, I thought about the idea that great days are made by great people. My dear friends and co-chairs for the run, Andrea and Ben, are two of the greatest people I have in my life–honest, integrity-filled people with an eye for quality, minds attentive to the finest detail and generous hearts, they are the ones that make this day a source of inspiration for many.
To each and every person who attended, volunteered or supported the run, I wish to give you my sincerest appreciation. Many lives were touched on Saturday by your beautiful efforts.
