Today is the best day of your life. Tomorrow will be better.
Over MEA weekend we visited my grandma and grandpa in Luverne, MN and ate at our favorite restaurant, The Pizza Ranch. This tasty pizza place is owned and operated by my dad's cousin, Lila, who is known for her excellent customer service and quality food.
After dinner, Lila gave us a tour of the "back of the house" where I noticed a quote printed in large white letters on the employee entrance that read, "Today is the best day of your life. Tomorrow will be better."
She told me this was a phrase her father used nearly every day of his life and now serves as a legacy. If I ever start a pizza place, or coffee shop or used book store, I will ask Lila if I can borrow her quote. Maybe I will put it on my bathroom mirror for the time being.
